Strap Talks Monetizing Wearable Data in IoT Influencers Summit

Strap CEO Steve Caldwell will be participating in the IoT Influencers Summit along with Gundeep Hora running business development at the Weather Company and Shobeir Shobieri also doing business development at Pebble. The IoT Influencers Summit is hosted by APPNATION and takes place on July 21st in Santa Clara, California. The conference consists of panels throughout the day at the Levi’s Stadium. Panelists gather in this unique conference to discuss IoT development and investment.

Steve will speak at the panel titled “IoT Influencers Deep Dive: Leveraging Data to Monetize Wearables and Drive Consumer Engagement”.

Big data has been looming over us over the last several years, and with the explosion of connected devices and wearables like the Apple Watch, the amount of data generated by the expanding array of wearable devices increases exponentially every day. There is significant value in this data for brands, retailers, and device manufacturers and app developers alike. With the right analytics and tools, the IoT can show us context and ready brands and retailers to be available for the coveted “right time, right place, right message.” Context leads us to the right opportunities for brands, which means less wasted marketing dollars and more delighted consumers. In this session we will explore how Pebble, the Weather Channel and Strap are building context for our future connected world and how brands and wearables device manufacturers and app developers can all benefit and monetize from the wearables explosion.
