On Thursday, June 11th, 2015, the Xavier Center for Innovation hosted the first national Healthovate! conference in Cincinnati, Ohio. Healthcare leaders shared expertise and engaged in conversation with leaders in other industries such as technology to find new solutions to old problems. Cincinnati-based startups including Strap, MedaCheck, Batterii and Red Pigeon Interactive enhanced the discussion by producing possible innovative solutions to healthcare issues. Also participating was the University of Mississippi Medical Center/Telehealth, TechSolve, Kaleidoscope, and ProHealth Care.
Strap specifically addressed two questions at the conference:
1. How can human data positively influence population health?
2. What are possible use cases for personalization in the healthcare industry?
Amidst an attentive audience of healthcare professionals, Steve Caldwell, CEO of Strap, addressed these issues and introduced Strap as a viable option for harnessing the power of human data within the healthcare industry.
